Frequently Asked Questions

Is NSE a high school feeder program?
YES! Sending youth football players into the high school level with the skills necessary to compete at a high level is a goal for the North Side Elite Football program.

The job of a feeder program is to prepare young athletes for the next level of football.  We are dedicated to physically and mentally developing players from season to season. Our job as an organization is to take the time to help each individual become more confident on and off the field, improve his skill level and gain better knowledge of football.

Once reaching their first year of high school, we hope that each athlete that comes from our program has the ability to put on a football uniform and proudly represent their high school on the field, with all the tools that they’ve learned in our organization through the years.

At North Side Elite, we recognize the importance of balancing athletic commitment with academic excellence. Our program is among the few that actively teaches young athletes how to manage both football and their studies effectively. We believe that success on the field should complement success in the classroom, and we provide our players with the tools and support needed to excel in both areas.

Who does NSE serve?

We serve athletes aged 8U – 12U throughout the North Shore and surrounding areas. Our goal as an organization is to build successful travel football teams from all local areas.

Is previous football experience needed?

No, we offer different levels of play for athletes of all ages. Coaches at North Side Elite highly recommend clinic training and camp participation. As the off season is the best time to train. This will help each athlete gain confidence, sharpen their skills, and prepare for their upcoming season.

Does North Side Elite Football hold try outs?

This is not a try out based program, we take pride in offering all youth the chance at playing football.

Can I bring my own helmet?

No. Helmets are provided by NSE to stay in compliance with Pop Warner’s strict safety guidelines for certified helmets. Your child’s safety is our top concern.
